About Genevieve Dominguez, PTA, CMT

It all started with a class…I have been a physical therapist assistant for the last 17 years. In 2016 I was frustrated by the results my patients were getting based on my education. My friend told me to take John Barnes MFR classes and I thought I would start off with a two day mobilization class. From the moment I finished that class I knew I wanted to share this with EVERYONE! It just made sense. The Myofascial layer is a whole body gliding system that should be liquid. When there is emotional and or physical trauma that layer solidifies creating crushing tightness. By using my hands I sink deep into that layer for a long period of time to release and soften your body. The results are amazing.

From that class I decided to go to massage therapy school and graduated in 2018. I have continued to take classes since that time and have taken 22 classes with approximately 500 hours of continued education. I am not even close to being done. I make it a priority to continue to learn and lean into this amazing work. Taking courses and repeating those classes allow me to help my clients further. I have been to Hawaii, Sedona, Arizona and here in California to expand my skills and get treated myself. I can only take you as far as I am willing to go. I can't wait to share this work with you.
